Our Facility
Our 2,500 sq ft facility is under development in Canastota, NY, with plans to begin full operations in Spring/Summer 2026.
Our Approach
Every dog gets individualized care — medical attention, behavioral rehabilitation, and the patience they need to heal and find their forever home.
Our Community
It takes a village. We're powered by volunteers, fosters, and donors across CNY who believe every dog deserves love.

Why We Do This
Honoring David Martin
K9 Rescue and Rehab was born from one man's deep, unwavering love for dogs. David Martin believed that every dog — no matter how broken, scared, or forgotten — deserved compassion.
His memory is the heartbeat of everything we do. Every dog we save, every life we change, carries forward David's legacy of kindness and devotion.
“Saving one dog won't change the world, but for that one dog, the world changes forever.”
